Youth

OUR VISION

Emmanuel's vision is to help families equip their 7th-12th grade youth to love God, one another, and the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe the middle and high school years are some of the most crucial and formative years in life and in faith. We believe parents are the primary disciplers of their children and want to resource them in that glorious and high calling. Below are some of the primary ways Emmanuel seeks to aid our families in discipling their youth.

YOUTH EQUIP CLASSES

Sundays, 9:15-10:15am

Every Sunday morning our youth gather to actively engage with robust teaching on core biblical truths that every student should be exposed to in their middle and high school years.

MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY

3rd Sunday, 3:45-4:45pm

This monthly interactive study creates a regular opportunity for the youth to learn to love and put deep roots down in the Bible.

MONTHLY YOUTH GATHERINGS

2nd and 4th Sundays, 5-8pm

Our large group youth gatherings provide a great opportunity for the youth to build community and grow in Christ together. The youth will gather either at the church or in a family's home to enjoy games, food, and a time of spiritual focus through Bible-centered teaching, breakout groups, testimonies, or panel discussions on different topics.

SPECIAL EVENTS AND RETREATS

We seek to create a greenhouse for spiritual growth by providing multiple other opportunities for practically living out the faith. Every year we hold a summer missions trip or retreat. Periodically we will attend weekend conferences, hold special events at the church, or organize group work days.

1-ON-1 DISCIPLESHIP

Our goal is to encourage a culture of discipleship by connecting every youth who wants to be discipled with a member of the church who will help them grow in their knowledge of God's word and understanding of what it means to be a follower of Christ.

CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

We take the safety of our youth very seriously. You can read our Family Ministry Policy here
